What Makes Our Hydrogen Peroxide Food Grade?
Often, when people look at our food grade H2O2 products, they think to themselves, “Wait, isn’t that the stuff I put on my cuts to clean them up? Why would I want to use food grade?” This initial reaction is common and is often correct. But the fact is, many people do not realize that there are many different grades of hydrogen peroxide. There are many different grades of H2O2 and some are safer for you to use, and may even provide you with health benefits beyond just cleaning up scraps and cuts. Read on as the team at The One Minute Miracle, Inc explains the different grades of hydrogen peroxide.

Grades of H2O2

Like grades of fuel, hydrogen peroxide is available in various grades that are assigned based on their strength and suggested usage. It’s important to recognize that these grades have been assigned for a reason, as some grades of H2O2 are harmful to use, and can be hazardous to your health. For our products, we are always careful to use 35 percent food grade H2O2.
Three Percent Pharmaceutical Grade
If you’ve ever applied hydrogen peroxide to a cut or scrape after an accident, this is the grade of H2O2 you used. This grade of H2O2 is sold in brown plastic bottles at drug stores and grocery stores. Many feel that, since the percent content of this grade is so low, it is safe to consume. It is important that you do not consume this grade as it contains additional chemicals and solutions. These chemicals are used as stabilizers that improve its shelf storage life.
Six Percent Beautician Grade
We all love a trip to the salon or beauty parlor every now and then, but it’s best to leave this grade of hydrogen peroxide behind. This grade is used to color and dye hair. To make it effective for use on hair and to react to dyes properly, it is mixed with others chemicals that are dangerous to your health if they are consumed. This grade of H2O2 should not be ingested.

35 Percent Technical Grade

While it shares the same percentage as our food grade H2O2, this grade is meant for use in commercial and technical applications. Chemicals, like phosphorous, are added, and should not be ingested.

35 Percent Food Grade

This grade of H2O2 is the only food grade that is recommended by The One Minute Cure Book. It is used in the production of many food products and on the lining of food packaging. Using the food grade H2O2 products from The One Minute Miracle, our clients have reported that they feel healthier, more alert, and that they sleep better at night.
It’s important to only use 35 Percent Food Grade H2O2. Other grades of hydrogen peroxide may lead to health complications or even death. Only use the H2O2 that you purchased from The One Minute Miracle, Inc.
